Inspired by a collaboration with guitarist Yvette Young, the Walrus Audio Qi Etherealizer is a versatile multi-effects pedal designed to create expansive, atmospheric soundscapes. The pedal's core is a powerful new digital processing platform called MDSP, built around a high-performance ARM-based Cortex M7 processor and a superior audio codec for exceptional audio fidelity. This innovative circuit provides a wide range of sonic possibilities, from lush, layered soundscapes to rhythmic glitches. The construction is built for experimentation, allowing you to run the Chorus, Delay, and Granular effects in either a traditional series path or a parallel configuration, giving you full control over your signal chain.

The tone of the Qi is truly unique, offering a creative playground for sonic exploration. You have access to two different Chorus modes, a clean digital delay with up to two seconds of time, and a dynamic Granular effect with two distinct voices. The global controls include a Mix/Dry knob to blend the effect with your clean signal, a resonant low-pass filter to shape the tone, and a lush reverb to add depth and space. The black version of the pedal features a sleek, matte black finish with cream-colored text.
