Description
Two-Rock Vintage Deluxe 35-Watt Head and 2x12 Vertical Cabinet - Black Lacquered Tweed
Welcome to tone heaven! We are thrilled here at Palen Music Center to present this extraordinary boutique half-stack, pairing the Two-Rock Vintage Deluxe 35-Watt Head with its matching Two-Rock 2x12 Vertical Speaker Cabinet. Custom-appointed in an exquisite Black Lacquered Tweed covering complemented by vintage Cane cloth grilles, sharp black piping, and a rich brown amplifier chassis, this rig makes an immediate visual and sonic statement on any stage or in any studio. Inspired by the golden era of mid-sixties American black-panel circuits, this setup delivers a remarkably balanced, woody tone with sparkling, sweet highs, an articulate midrange bloom, and a tight, punchy low-end response that tracks every nuance of your pick attack with breathtaking fidelity.
Under the hood of the Vintage Deluxe head, Two-Rock has crafted a purist all-tube architecture designed for dynamic touch-responsiveness. The power section is driven by a pair of 6L6 tubes producing 35 robust watts of clean headroom, punch, and wide harmonic authority. Working in harmony with the power section is a GZ34 tube rectifier, which imparts a musical, tactile sag and natural compression when you dig into the strings, creating an organic, forgiving feel under your fingers that vintage amp aficionados revere. Up front, five 12AX7 preamp tubes and a 12AT7 reverb driver feed an expansive all-tube analog spring reverb with independent Send and Return controls, alongside a hypnotic tube-driven bias tremolo. Built on a heavy-duty all-steel chassis specifically chosen to optimize vintage harmonic resonance, the head also features an innovative footswitchable Tone Stack Select that bypasses the front 3-band EQ into a rear single-tone control for a direct, harmonically rich lead boost.
Completing this dream rig is the Two-Rock 2x12 Vertical Cabinet, meticulously crafted from void-free multi-ply birch with precision internal bracing and tuned cabinet walls. What truly elevates this cabinet is Two-Rock’s signature tuned rear-port design, which combines the focused low-end punch of a closed-back enclosure with the airy, three-dimensional room dispersion of an open-back design. Loaded with a pair of custom-voiced Two-Rock TR12 12-inch speakers wired in phase for 200 watts of clean power handling, this cabinet serves as the ultimate acoustic partner. It faithfully translates the head's tube warmth, harmonic bloom, and subtle dynamic nuances without ever sounding harsh or boxy, giving you an inspiring, heirloom-quality rig built to last a lifetime.
