A limited edition take on a Taylor classic! Limited to only 500 instruments worldwide, this guitar has the unique feature of not only a Urban Ash top, but Urban Ash back and sides. Urban Ash is a relatively new tonewood that is more sustainable and renewable than traditional mahogany, but features very similar tonal characteristics. The highs are pristine, the mids are very natural, and the lows are very focused. The neck and fingerboard are the classic Taylor combination of Mahogany and Ebony, giving you the snap and responsiveness you've come to expect from a Taylor. The Grand Auditorium body style is comfortable and sleek, yet still produces a great and clear sound. Lastly, this guitar features the top notch Taylor Expression System 2. The 424ce's onboard electronics will precisely capture all the subtlety and richness of the instrument for any live performance where a PA is involved.
