Welcome to Palen Music Center! We are incredibly excited to showcase the Universal Audio Starlight Echo Station, a pedal that brings decades of iconic studio delay history right to your pedalboard. Built on Universal Audio's futuristic UAFX dual-engine processing, this stompbox sets a new benchmark in delay effects. It is housed in a rugged, road-ready metal enclosure that looks absolutely stunning and is constructed to withstand years of heavy gigging and touring.
The heart of the Starlight lies in its flawless emulation of three legendary circuits. The "Tape EP-III" setting captures the magic of the early '70s Maestro Echoplex, giving you the musical preamp coloration and the unpredictable wow/flutter of vintage tape. If you prefer the syrupy, thick modulation of classic bucket-brigade delays, the "Analog DMM" models the iconic Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man right down to its colorful preamp. Finally, the "Precision" mode delivers pristine, hi-fi studio digital delays with shimmering chorus and flanging textures.
Sonically, the Starlight Echo Station gives you an expansive stereo spread with complex, awe-inspiring spatial textures. You get modern conveniences without sacrificing vintage tone, including analog dry-through, silent switching, and optional trails/spillover.
