PRS Wood Library DGT Flame Maple - Jade
This guitar represents the pinnacle of a decades-long collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and Austin tone legend David Grissom. While the DGT is based on the McCarty platform, it is distinctively its own beast, designed to handle the rigors of the road while offering vintage-voiced sweetness. However, this specific instrument is a Wood Library run, meaning it deviates from the standard specs to offer something truly unique for the collector and player alike. Instead of the traditional mahogany construction, this build features a resonant Swamp Ash body paired with a Maple neck. This combination injects a snap, articulation, and "air" into the notes that is simply addictive, while the satin-finished neck offers a smooth, fast feel that never gets sticky during a long set.
Visually, this guitar is a showstopper featuring a "10 Top" Flame Maple cap finished in a striking Jade that perfectly accentuates the figuring of the wood.
