Description
PRS SE Zach Myers - Elderberry Burst
If you've ever craved an electric guitar that seamlessly bridges the gap between raw rock-and-roll attitude and rich, semi-hollow resonance, the PRS SE Zach Myers in Elderberry Burst is here to steal the show. Crafted as the signature workhorse for Shinedown’s powerhouse lead guitarist Zach Myers, this model carries forward an incredible legacy that began back in 2010. Myers first fell in love with PRS when he was only fifteen, and he teamed up directly with Paul Reed Smith to design a guitar that delivers the vibe, resonance, and build quality of an elite custom instrument while remaining accessible to gigging musicians and bedroom shredders alike.
At the heart of this tone machine is a chambered mahogany body paired with a carved maple top and a stunning flame maple veneer. That single f-hole isn't just an eye-catcher—it introduces an airy, organic internal reverb and a sweet midrange bloom that makes every single chord sing with acoustic-like dimension. Around back, you'll love the satin-finished mahogany neck shaped to PRS's player-favorite Wide Fat profile. Free of any sticky gloss, your fretting hand glides effortlessly across the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, trimmed with iconic PRS bird inlays and set to an ultra-comfortable 24.594” scale length.
Plugged into your favorite amplifier, this axe truly comes to life. Equipped with a pair of PRS-designed 245 "S" humbuckers, it dishes out punchy lows, smooth midrange warmth, and clear, singing highs that never sound harsh. With independent volume and tone controls for each pickup and a 3-way toggle switch, you can dial in everything from warm, jazzy cleans to searing hard-rock overdrive. Anchored by a fully adjustable PRS stoptail bridge and vintage-style tuners for rock-solid stability, the SE Zach Myers is an absolute tone monster that's ready for any stage.
