Description
Open Box 2023 Darkglass Alpha-Omega 900 - 900-watt Bass Head
The Darkglass Alpha-Omega 900 is the ultimate realization of power and versatility for the modern bassist, taking the revered distortion circuit of the Alpha-Omega pedal and fusing it with a massive 900-watt power section. Designed for those who need to move serious air, this amplifier offers earth-shattering volume without sacrificing definition. At its heart lies the dual-engine drive circuit: "Alpha" provides a punchy, tight distortion with plenty of definition, while "Omega" delivers a brutal, raw, and visceral fuzz. The unique "Mod" knob allows you to blend between these two distinct textures, giving you complete control over your harmonic saturation. While this is a Class D solid-state amplifier, the analog drive section is engineered to deliver the touch sensitivity, warmth, and complex harmonic breakup often associated with tube amplifiers, ensuring you get that organic grit with the reliability and lightweight portability of modern technology.
Beyond its aggressive growl, the Alpha-Omega 900 is a sophisticated tool for tone shaping. It features a studio-grade VCA compressor that keeps your dynamics in check, adding a consistent, punchy sustain that sits perfectly in the mix. The ultra-quiet 6-band graphic equalizer allows for precise frequency sculpting, letting you cut through dense guitars or bolster your low-end fundamental with ease. Palen Music Center customers will appreciate the thoughtful connectivity, including MIDI compatibility for remote switching and a USB port for loading up to three impulse response (IR) cabinet simulations. This means you can send a perfect, mic'd-up cabinet tone directly to the front-of-house PA via the DI outputs, regardless of the venue's acoustics.
Condition:Mint. Open box. Light wear typical of a gently used Item. Light surface scratches, scuffs, etc.
