Built around an authentic bucket-brigade device (BBD) circuit topology, this pedal captures the lush warmth, organic motion, and extreme sonic capabilities that defined Adrian Belew’s ground-breaking guitar work with King Crimson, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, and Talking Heads. In terms of tone, the Echoflanger spans an incredible range—from smooth, glassy modulation and classic jet flanging to metallic comb-filtering, slapback delays, and wild pitch-warped vibrato. EHX has enhanced the original four-mode layout (Filter Matrix, Flange, Chorus, and Slap Back) by introducing two new hybrid modes.
