Crafted in collaboration with Chicago Symphony Orchestra percussionist James Ross, the Innovative Percussion IP901 Soft Xylophone and Glockenspiel Mallets are engineered to deliver refined articulation and rich, warm tonality. Featuring a 1-1/4" soft tan synthetic ball paired with high-grade, flexible rattan shafts, these mallets reduce sharp contact click while preserving clear fundamental projection. Perfect for delicate orchestral passages, chamber settings, or upper-register marimba work, the IP901 offers the nuanced touch and dynamic control professional percussionists require on stage and in the studio.
