Step back into the golden era of Gibson semi-hollowbody craftsmanship with this breathtaking Limited Edition 1959 ES-345 Varitone Reissue. Built with meticulous historical accuracy by the master builders at the Gibson Custom Shop, this guitar captures every ounce of the mojo, feel, and tone that made the original late-50s models legend. Constructed from a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body with a solid maple centerblock, it delivers that signature semi-hollow snap, sustain, and warm acoustic resonance while keeping feedback entirely at bay.
At the heart of this tone machine are two Custombucker Alnico 3 unpotted humbuckers, wired through the classic 6-position Varitone switch and mono wiring setup. From thick, woody neck-pickup blues to scooped, honky notch tones and bright, singing lead lines, the Varitone circuit gives you an entire sonic palette at your fingertips.
