Description
Fender Player II Modified Telecaster - Dusk
Ever since its debut in the early 1950s, the Fender Telecaster has stood as the definitive workhorse solidbody electric guitar, shaping the sonic landscape of rock, country, blues, and indie in the hands of legends like Keith Richards, Bruce Springsteen, Muddy Waters, and Brad Paisley. The Player II Modified Telecaster honors that monumental legacy while packing player-focused refinements engineered for modern stages and studios. Dressed in Fender's striking Dusk finish, it seamlessly marries classic twang with contemporary horsepower.
Built on a foundation of classic Fender tonewoods, the resonant alder body delivers the punchy, balanced voice with crisp attack and full midrange presence that players have counted on for decades. Bolted to that body is a silky maple neck carved to a fast Modern "C" profile with a satin urethane finish on the back for effortless movement up and down the neck. The slab rosewood fingerboard features a comfortable 9.5-inch radius, smooth rolled edges, and 22 medium jumbo frets, offering a broken-in feel right out of the case for fluid lead lines and comfortable chord work.
Plugged in, this Tele offers a versatile, modern sonic toolkit. A set of Player II Noiseless Tele pickups delivers all the signature snap, crystalline chime, and biting cut you expect from a vintage Telecaster—completely free of annoying 60-cycle hum. When your tone needs extra muscle to punch through a heavy mix or drive an amp into overdrive, simply engage the push/pull tone pot to switch the pickups into series mode for a fatter, humbucker-like roar. Rounded out with a treble-bleed volume circuit, deluxe short-post locking tuners, a TUSQ nut, and a 6-saddle string-through-body bridge with block brass saddles, this guitar offers remarkable tuning stability, singing sustain, and endless versatility.
