Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Masterbuilt Dave Murray Stratocaster - NOS Olympic White
When heavy metal royalty meets the absolute pinnacle of Custom Shop craftsmanship, you get an axe that is ready to scream. Built by Master Builder Andy Hicks, this Limited Edition Dave Murray Stratocaster captures the high-octane energy and relentless tone of Iron Maiden’s legendary guitarist. Dave Murray has been laying down iconic, galloping riffs and searing leads with Fender Stratocasters for decades, and this Masterbuilt signature model represents the ultimate evolution of his touring rig.
At the core of this beast is a select 2-piece alder body paired with an exotic, oil-finished walnut neck. Alder provides the perfect sonic foundation—punchy, balanced, and resonant—while the smooth walnut neck capped with a 3A rosewood fingerboard offers a silky, lightning-fast feel under your fingers. A 9.5” to 14” compound radius and 21 medium jumbo stainless steel frets make playing fast rhythm sections and high-velocity string bends effortless.
To unleash true British heavy metal fury, Fender loaded this Strat with Murray’s signature Seymour Duncan pickup configuration: a Hot Rails SHR-1N in the neck, a JB Jr. SJBJ-1N in the middle, and a Hot Rails SHR-1B in the bridge. Combined with premium FU-Tone upgrades—including a 42mm big brass block and titanium hardware—this guitar delivers incredible sustain, razor-sharp clarity, and zero-compromise tuning stability.
