Description
Epiphone Prophecy Victory FR - Obsidian Storm Satin
Welcome to the next generation of heavy tone and high-speed playability! The Epiphone Prophecy Victory FR resurrects an iconic 1980s offset body shape—originally introduced in Gibson's legendary Victory series and famously wielded by rock royalty like Heart's Nancy Wilson—and completely re-engineers it for modern, demanding players. Built with a solid mahogany body topped by a beautiful figured flamed maple veneer, this guitar pairs aggressive contemporary aesthetics with a warm, resonant sonic foundation. Its satin-finished, thermally aged one-piece maple neck is reinforced with internal graphite rods for rock-solid stability, while the ultra-sleek HyperGlide profile and 25.5" scale length provide precise string tension and sharp note definition, especially when dropping down into modern tunings.
Under the hood, the Prophecy Victory FR is equipped with custom-voiced Fishman Fluence active pickups designed specifically for the Prophecy line. Easily controlled via push/pull volume and tone pots, these humbuckers offer three distinct tonal profiles: searing modern active high-output power, classic vintage PAF-style humbucker warmth, and crisp, pristine single-coil articulation. Smoothly navigating these tones across a bound ebony fretboard loaded with 24 long-lasting stainless steel frets and a 10"–14" compound radius makes fast lead work and tight rhythm playing feel effortless.
Rounding out this performance-oriented instrument is a complete suite of stealthy black hardware built for intense performance. The Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking tremolo system and Floyd Rose R3 locking nut work alongside Grover Mini Rotomatic locking tuners to ensure impeccable tuning stability through extreme dive bombs and aggressive tremolo technique. Whether you're tracking in the studio or tearing up the main stage, the Epiphone Prophecy Victory FR delivers the tone, feel, and reliability to push your sound forward.
