Description
Epiphone Earl Scruggs Golden Deluxe Banjo - Vintage Sunburst
Get ready to pick three-finger rolls with the kind of crisp, thunderous projection that made bluegrass history! The Epiphone Earl Scruggs Golden Deluxe Banjo pays homage to the legendary standard-bearer of three-finger picking, bringing Mastertone-style power directly to your hands. Crafted with a 3-ply turned maple rim paired with a stunning figured maple resonator, this instrument produces a snappy, bright fundamental tone with laser-focused clarity. The high-density maple body reflects sound with incredible speed, giving you that iconic high-end pop, quick decay, and punchy projection that cuts through any jam session or live mix without getting lost in the background.
Underneath the hood, the ultra-hard ebony fingerboard adds a glassy top-end response and smooth playability up and down the neck. The combination of a high-tensile 11" Remo frosted head and dense tonewood construction delivers explosive volume, rich clarity, and a bell-like chime across every string. Made famous by bluegrass titans like Earl Scruggs himself—and revered by modern virtuosos like Bela Fleck and Noam Pikelny who built on his foundational style—this banjo pays tribute to the true golden standard of American traditional music.
