Description
Charvel Pro-Mod Relic San Dimas Style 1 HH FR PF - Weathered Orange
Step straight into Southern California hot-rod guitar history! Born in the late 1970s, Charvel spearheaded the high-performance superstrat movement that forever changed rock and metal guitar playing. Iconic players such as Warren DeMartini of Ratt and Jake E. Lee built their fiery reputations on the searing speed and unrestrained power of Charvel San Dimas guitars. This Pro-Mod Relic San Dimas Style 1 HH FR PF captures that unmistakable golden-era energy, wearing a factory-distressed nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Weathered Orange that gives it the authentic look and broken-in feel of a legendary road warrior that has headlined stages for decades.
Beneath that road-tested swagger is a resonant alder body that provides a tight, punchy low end, vibrant midrange bite, and clear acoustic sparkle. Bolted to the body is a rock-solid maple neck fortified with dual graphite reinforcement rods to shrug off environmental changes, finished in a smooth, hand-rubbed urethane gel for lightning-fast navigation. Charvel's renowned speed neck profile features comfortably rolled fingerboard edges and a 12"–16" compound radius pau ferro fretboard with 22 jumbo frets, offering effortless rhythm comping down low and clean, choke-free upper-register bends.
When you plug into a high-gain amp, this axe comes alive with pure attitude. Equipped with a direct-mounted Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1N in the neck, you have immediate access to singing sustain, rich harmonics, and thick, bluesy warmth. With a streamlined master volume and a three-way toggle switch, finding your tone is simple and distraction-free. Top it off with a recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo system for outrageous dive bombs and rock-solid tuning stability, and you've got an absolute shred machine built to perform night after night.
