Description
Catalinbread Echorec Delay Pedal
The original Binson Echorec was an absolute masterpiece of magnetic drum delay, but its massive footprint, fragile moving parts, and fixed delay times kept it out of reach for many modern players. Catalinbread set out to recreate that iconic multi-head magic and pack it into a standard pedalboard-friendly enclosure. The result is a vibrant, organic digital delay circuit designed to capture all the warmth, rhythmic complexity, and metallic sheen of the legendary vintage unit, without any of the high-maintenance headaches.
Tonally, the Catalinbread Echorec offers everything from lush, ambient atmospheric swells to tight, syncopated slapback echoes. By extending the maximum delay time far beyond the original's 300ms limit, the rhythmic interplay between its four simulated playback heads truly comes alive. Built with road-worthy construction and high-grade components, this pedal lets you fine-tune your sound further using internal trimpots for modulation and gain, giving you complete control over your vintage-inspired echo experience.
