Description
2024 PRS S2 Custom 24 - Lake Blue
The PRS Custom 24 is the iconic workhorse that put Paul Reed Smith on the map back in 1985, championed by legends like Carlos Santana and Dave Navarro. The S2 Custom 24 takes that legendary lineage and reimagines it with a sleek, stripped-down aesthetic designed for modern players who demand high-end versatility, road-tested reliability, and unmistakable tone.
At the core of this guitar is the classic tonewood pairing that started it all: a rich mahogany back capped with an asymmetrical beveled maple top. Joined to a fast mahogany neck topped with a smooth rosewood fretboard and PRS’s trademark bird inlays, this instrument delivers a resonant, well-balanced voice with tight lows, rich sustain, and effortless playability up and down all 24 frets.
Plugged in, the S2 Custom 24 comes alive with a pair of PRS 85/15 humbuckers driven by a 5-way blade switch. Whether you need crystal-clear neck cleans, searing lead lines, or crisp single-coil-style chime, this guitar handles every genre with ease. Complete with a buttery PRS Patented Tremolo and low-mass locking tuners, it keeps your tuning rock-solid through every dive and bend.
