Description
PRS Fiore - Sunflower
Meet the PRS Fiore in vibrant Sunflower—an absolute masterclass in modern bolt-on design, developed in close collaboration with Grammy-winning guitarist, composer, and producer Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy, The Fearless Flyers). Italian for "flower," the Fiore was envisioned as a dynamic, free space where a player's unique sonic identity can fully bloom. Built around a lightweight, deeply resonant Swamp Ash body and paired with a snappy 25.5”-scale maple neck and fingerboard, this guitar delivers immediate acoustic response, punchy midrange presence, and effortless playability right out of the gate.
The beating heart of the Fiore lies in its versatile, Lettieri-voiced pickup configuration. Two Fiore-S single-coils serve up chime, nuance, and remarkable touch-sensitivity, capturing whisper-quiet fingerpicking dynamics just as easily as hard-hitting funk grooves. Down at the bridge, the Fiore-H humbucker packs plenty of punch and midrange muscle for high-gain leads while maintaining a sweet, open top-end that stays musical and articulate even with your volume rolled wide open.
Tone shaping is where this guitar truly sets itself apart. Armed with a traditional 5-way blade switch and dual push/pull tone controls, the Fiore offers an expansive tonal palette—from spanky, out-of-phase Strat-style quack to thick, singing lead voices. Complete with a smooth 2-point steel tremolo, vintage-style tuners, and a special truss rod cover illustrated by Mark’s mother, the Fiore seamlessly honors classic bolt-on heritage while blazing an exciting new path forward.
