Palen Music Center Online Return Policy

As fellow musicians, we understand that sometimes a piece of gear just isn't the right fit. We're dedicated to making your return process as clear and easy as possible, ensuring you find the right equipment for your needs.

How to Initiate a Return

You must contact our .com Team Specialists to make a return. We will help resolve any issues providing support or a Return Authorization (RA) number before sending any item back.

Standard Return Policy: New Items

Return Period

14 days from the delivery date.

Condition

Must be returned in original, brand-new condition with all original packaging, manuals, warranty cards, and accessories intact.

Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs incurred. This includes the initial shipping cost and return shipping cost.

Restocking Fee

No restocking fee will be charged unless items from the original shipment are damaged, missing, or the product is not returned in new condition, in which case a 20% fee will apply.

 


 

Defective or Damaged Items

If a new item arrives defective, damaged, or fails within its warranty period, please contact our .com Team Specialists immediately. We are here to quickly resolve the issue with troubleshooting, repair, replacement, or a return authorization.

Defective New Item (within 14 days of delivery)

Palen Music Center will cover the shipping costs for the replacement item.

Item Under Manufacturer Warranty

We will assist you with the manufacturer's warranty claim process.

 


 

Used Items

Used items are sold as is and may not be returned. Please contact an associate for more details regarding a specific purchase.

Final Sale Items

The following items are considered final sale and cannot be returned for a refund or credit:

Mouthpieces, harmonicas, and vacuum tubes.

Sheet music and books.

Items with downloadable software (once the software has been registered or the packaging opened).

Opened consumable items (e.g., strings, reeds, drum heads, instrument care liquids/oils).

Discontinued or clearance products.

Pre-orders: These are non-refundable and non-cancellable once the order is placed.

Special Order Items: These are non-refundable and non-cancellable once the order is placed.

Processing Refunds

All returns are subject to a full inspection by Palen Music Center staff upon arrival.

Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after inspection and will be issued to the original method of payment.
