Following its successful 2015 launch, the Orange O Bass has made a comeback with modifications, both big and small, that secure its status as one of the most versatile, colorful, and easy-to-play bass guitars on the market. While maintaining the original O Bass's noteworthy features, including the classic single cutaway body shape and split-coil pickup, which produces a deep, warm growl, the guitar offers various tone options. Soft-touch players will appreciate the earthy RnB overtones, while those who dig in a little deeper will be rewarded with an infectious harmonic grind reminiscent of rock ‘n’ roll. Rolling back the tone knob offers a mellower dub and laid-back reggae sound.

Improvements have been made as well, with the addition of binding all around the instrument, providing a premium feel. The headstock of both orange and black models has been colored black for a timeless, classic look. Innovations have also been made to improve the playability of the O Bass. A body made of west African okoumé wood and a super-durable purpleheart fretboard provide a balanced instrument for both standing and seated play. Furthermore, the fretwork and neck molding have been retooled to enhance playability, allowing for natural jumping around the neck and funky octave swoops.

The O Bass was already known for its personality, adaptability, and good looks, far exceeding the competition. With the 2022 makeover, the Orange O Bass has become even better.
