Peavey originally created the ValveKing line to offer boutique amp quality and attention to detail at an affordable price for working guitarists. The new generation ValveKing amps take this concept even further, providing sophisticated tonal options for modern guitarists.

Peavey CEO Hartley Peavey wanted to combine elite boutique amp characteristics with affordability and durability, resulting in an amp that guitarists eagerly use. The latest ValveKings build upon this legacy by adding advanced features for both recording and live performances.

For recording, the ValveKing amps offer a USB direct recording output and a built-in Peavey MSDI XLR interface, eliminating the need for miking. A speaker defeat switch allows direct recording without any speaker output. The ValveKings also feature the Vari-Class knob for adjusting power amp characteristics and a TSI tube-monitoring indicator.

Additionally, ValveKing amps include variable power control, three 12AX7 tubes, two independent foot-switchable channels with EQ, and the Vari-Class variable Class A/AB simulation control, providing customizable all-tube power for various music styles.
