Introducing the '63 Jaguar Deluxe Closet Classic from the Fender Custom Shop, a new addition for 2023. Marking 60 years since the debut of its sleek predecessor, this captivating big cat embodies the iconic Jaguar guitar's aesthetics, tone, and vibe that emerged in the summer of 1962.

Crafted with a two-piece select alder body, the Deluxe Closet Classic finish options include Aged Shoreline Gold, Aged Inca Silver, and Aged Burgundy Mist Metallic. This meticulously aged treatment replicates the appearance of a guitar cherished and well-maintained over the years, showcasing moderate finish checking, hardware oxidization, and subtle parts discoloration. The result is a distinct aesthetic, akin to an instrument that has matured into a sophisticated entity, much like a fine wine.

The guitar features a rift-sawn maple neck with a '62-style "C" profile, complemented by a 9.5"-radius flat-lam rosewood fingerboard hosting 22 narrow tall (6105) frets and a bone nut. Equipped with dual Custom Shop hand-wound '62 Jaguar pickups, this instrument produces crystal-clear highs, rich harmonics, and a tight low end. Vintage Jaguar wiring and controls enhance the sonic experience. Premium additions include a three-ply parchment pickguard, Fender's "Floating Vibrato" tailpiece with a vintage-style six-saddle bridge and mute, vintage-style tuners, wing string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap, and a certificate of authenticity.
