Avi Shabat was approached by his longtime friend Gonzalo Bergara, who expressed his desire for a guitar that would be both incredibly lightweight and highly responsive. Avi, being an experienced guitar maker, set to work and the result was the Lion GB - a remarkable instrument that boasts a featherweight sugar pine body and a 3-saddle vintage-style bridge, in addition to a fat Lollar Charlie Christian neck pickup and J Street bridge pickup.

The Lion GB is truly a monster guitar, capable of producing a unique and powerful tone. The guitar's top end is clear and non-piercing, while its bottom end is defined, warm, and fuzzy. Additionally, there is a slight scoop in the midrange, and the natural compression of the instrument creates a wonderful "spank" that is sure to impress any musician.
