This Epiphone recreation, born from a collaboration with the Gibson Custom Shop, captures the soul of the mahogany machine that defined the sound of early Metallica. Kirk originally picked up his V to find a fuller, more aggressive tone, and it quickly became his main squeeze for the most influential albums in heavy metal history.
This tribute is built for speed and power, featuring a solid mahogany body and a sturdy one-piece mahogany neck with that classic "volute" for extra durability. Under the hood, you’re getting the real deal: dual Gibson USA Calibrated T-Type humbuckers. These pickups deliver the crisp, high-output clarity needed to cut through a wall of drums and bass. With Orange Drop capacitors and CTS potentiometers, the electronics are as premium as the legacy they represent.
