The Loar LM-600-VS Mandolin - Vintage Sunburst
The Loar LM-600-VS is a powerhouse mandolin carved from the same DNA as the legendary instruments of the 1920s. This F-style beauty features a hand-carved solid Adirondack Spruce top, a wood often called the "stuff of legend" for its incredible stiffness and velocity of sound. This top allows the LM-600 to project with a clear, ringing, and nuanced tone that stays well-defined no matter how hard you chop, carrying through high volume levels where other spruces might break up. Over time, this Adirondack top will only continue to gain character as it breaks in, rewarding the dedicated player with even more tonal complexity.
The back and sides are crafted from solid hand-carved Figured Maple, providing the "laser beam" focus and bright, punchy fundamental that lead players crave.
