The PRS SE Custom 24 Quilt is a stage-ready workhorse that brings the iconic tone and stunning aesthetics of the flagship Custom 24 to the accessible SE Series. It’s a guitar built on the foundational excellence of the original, known for its balanced tone resulting from the classic tonewood pairing of a thick mahogany body and a gorgeous quilted maple veneer top. This combination provides a warm, resonant low-end from the mahogany, complemented by the clear articulation and stunning visual depth of the quilted maple, ensuring a guitar that sounds as good as it looks.
Plugged in, this model delivers incredible versatility courtesy of the PRS 85/15 “S” pickups. These dual humbuckers are known for their clarity, extended high and low end, and wide-ranging tonal palette—perfect for everything from chimey clean passages to heavy, aggressive riffing. The electronics package, featuring a push/pull tone knob for coil-tapping, instantly splits the humbuckers into single-coil mode, giving you access to bright, snappy sounds in addition to the fat humbucking tones. It's the ultimate all-in-one setup for the modern player.
