Reverend Pete Anderson Eastsider Baritone - Satin Outfield Ivy
Born from the legendary partnership between Reverend and Grammy-winning producer/guitarist Pete Anderson, the Eastsider Baritone is designed to deliver the deepest possible twang without sacrificing the playability of a standard electric. Pete Anderson, famously known for his work as Dwight Yoakam's right-hand man, needed a baritone that could handle everything from spaghetti western soundtracks to modern country and rock. This instrument hits that mark perfectly, pairing a classic T-style aesthetic with a chambered Korina body that offers incredible resonance and a light weight that won't kill your shoulder during long sets.
The magic of this baritone lies in its unique electronic setup and extended scale. It features a trio of custom-calibrated Alnico pickups—a Talnico in the bridge and Salnicos in the middle and neck—which provide remarkable clarity even in the lower registers of C standard tuning. For even more versatility, Reverend included their "Studio Switch" (a push-pull on the tone knob) that allows you to engage the bridge and neck pickups together, giving you those iconic "position 4" sounds typically reserved for standard guitars.
Constructed with a roasted maple neck for rock-solid stability and a compound radius fretboard, the Eastsider Baritone feels familiar and fast. The addition of the Wilkinson WV6 SB tremolo bridge—featuring a steel block for extra sustain—allows for expressive pitch bends while the Pin-Lock tuners ensure you stay in tune through the most aggressive dives.
