Inspired by Paul Reed Smith’s personal 1953 vintage treasures, this guitar marries a classic swamp ash body with a snappier 25.5” scale length. It’s got that old-school soul that reminds us of the legendary players who defined the bolt-on sound, but it’s delivered with the meticulous craftsmanship you expect from PRS.
The real magic here lies in the Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) pickups. Paul and his team went back to the drawing board to create a hum-canceling pickup that retains all the chime and "spank" of a single-coil without the annoying buzz. By using taller bobbins and extra metal between the magnets, these pickups focus the tone into a punchy, powerful signal that slices through any mix. Whether you're playing clean country licks or overdriven blues, this guitar offers a high-end clarity that is truly game-changing.
