The Gibson Custom Shop has reached deep into its archives to resurrect the spirit of the original 12-fret SJ-200, a design famously championed by legends like Gene Autry. By shifting the neck joint to the 12th fret, the bridge is moved deeper into the center of the lower bout, transforming the already legendary "King of the Flat-Tops" into a cannon of resonance. You can expect a massive, commanding low end paired with that signature Adirondack Spruce "snap" that stays crystal clear no matter how hard you dig in.
The tonewood selection here is nothing short of world-class.
