Fender Custom Shop '63 Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic - Super Faded/Aged 3-Color Sunburst
Step back in time to the golden era of rock 'n' roll with this incredible Fender Custom Shop '63 Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic. Crafted with a premium two-piece ash body sorted specifically for its lightweight feel and resonant properties, this guitar sings with the legendary, punchy clarity that made mid-century Stratocasters famous. The Super Heavy Relic treatment gives it the look and unmistakable feel of a hard-working road warrior that has spent decades on tour buses and smoke-filled stages, complete with an incredibly thin lacquer finish that allows the tonewood to breathe and ring out naturally.
Under the hood, this Strat is loaded with a trio of Hand-Wound 60/63 single-coil pickups, featuring a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup for hum-canceling performance in positions 2 and 4. Wired up to a Fat '60s Strat 1/2 Blend control assembly, it offers a massive palette of classic chime, aggressive midrange bite, and smooth, woodsy warmth. Whether you are chasing the fiery blues-rock tones of Stevie Ray Vaughan or the pristine, expressive leads of Jimi Hendrix, these pickups deliver the ultimate vintage expression.
Playability is at the forefront of this masterfully built instrument. The neck is carved from a rock-solid piece of rift-sawn maple into a comfortable '63 Strat Style "C" profile, topped with a dark, hand-selected AAA rosewood fingerboard.
