Originally introduced as a square-shoulder variation of the popular Southern Jumbo, the Country Western shares the iconic body shape of a Hummingbird but features a natural finish and a classic unadorned tortoise pickguard, offering a unique aesthetic and a wonderfully resonant tonal quality that has captivated players for decades. This recreation boasts a thermally aged Sitka spruce top, providing a warm, broken-in sound right out of the case, paired with mahogany back and sides for a balanced and expressive voice.
