Description
Kala KA-S - Natural
Meet the soprano ukulele that started a worldwide revolution—the iconic Kala KA-S! If you have been searching for that timeless, breezy island sound packed into an ultra-portable frame, this little gem delivers in spades. The KA-S features a mahogany body and top that punch well above their weight class, serving up a surprisingly warm, full-bodied resonance with a rich midrange and sweet, articulate highs. Whether you are strumming dynamic chords on the beach or laying down sweet fingerpicked melodies in the studio, its quick response and well-balanced tone cut through with effortless clarity.
It is no secret why musicians around the globe—including ukulele legends like Jake Shimabukuro and pop icon Vance Joy—have long championed mahogany-bodied ukuleles for their woody depth and expressive response. The classic mahogany construction naturally dampens harsh overtones while amplifying the warm, fundamental notes, giving you a lush, organic voice that feels instantly familiar. Paired with a smooth walnut fretboard and a sleek satin finish, the KA-S feels just as comfortable in your hands as it sounds to your ears.
