Dave Mustaine, the renowned guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and founder of the highly successful and Grammy® Award-winning band MEGADETH, has always been synonymous with excellence when it comes to musical instruments bearing his name. The recently introduced Epiphone Dave Mustaine Flying V™ Custom lives up to this expectation by providing a remarkable playing experience and delivering a powerful, heavy sound with each and every note.
Featuring a 24.75" scale mahogany neck, the guitar boasts an incredibly agile ebony fretboard with 24 medium jumbo frets. It showcases an Explorer™-style headstock equipped with Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners and a Graph Tech® nut. The mahogany Flying V-style body is complemented by a LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, a string-thru Flying V tailpiece, and Dave's personal signature Seymour Duncan® Thrash Factor pickups, which offer the high-output chaos that is expected from a Mustaine signature instrument. To complete its pure-metal aesthetic, the guitar sports a Black Metallic finish with white body, neck, and headstock binding, along with black nickel hardware. Additionally, a hardshell case is included for added protection.
