Featuring abundant gain, spring reverb, and tremolo, the Trem-Drive Deluxe pays homage to the lesser-known Dumble "Overdrive Deluxe" circuit. This versatile amplifier delivers a wide range of classic rock and rock tones while providing easy access to legendary vintage Fender style AB763 reverb and bias tremolo. When utilizing the 'low' input, you'll experience a mellower voicing that maintains cleanliness and politeness reminiscent of a Deluxe Reverb, boasting a full-bodied EQ and vintage familiarity.
With the "Level" control, you can dial in your desired clean to medium gain tones and adjust the overall volume using the "Volume" control. Plugging into the 'high' input activates additional gain stages, allowing you to fine-tune your tone with all three volume controls: 'Overdrive' gain, 'Level,' and 'Volume' (master). These three controls provide limitless possibilities, enabling you to achieve various combinations of clean and overdriven sounds, ranging from classic cleans to aggressive high-gain tones, all accompanied by onboard reverb and bias tremolo. The tremolo can be engaged through the switch on the front panel or by using the included footswitch.
The Trem-Drive is designed to be user-friendly, ensuring that you can connect with the amp within minutes of plugging in. It combines the familiarity of vintage Fender circuits with a touch of 'single channel plexi,' resulting in a unique voicing that sets it apart from the rest of our lineup. The Rock/Jazz switch adds an edgier tone option, while the bright switch enhances the clarity of your cleans. The tremolo is well-balanced and complements even the highest gain settings, pushing the 22W power output into almost fuzz territory. As expected, the reverb is lush and full, and the amp features a standard 3-band EQ tone stack, external bias points, and configurability across all our power levels.
