The upgraded Microtubes B7K Ultra features all the versatility and sonic possibilities of the first version plus: (1) Single user loadable cabinet simulation impulse response. (2) Micro-USB B port to connect to PC/Mac to load a different Virtual Cabinet through the Darkglass Suite. (3) 3.5mm headphone output with cabinet simulation. (4) Balanced XLR output with switchable cabinet simulation.

Whether in the studio or onstage, the Darkglass Microtubes B7K Ultra allows you to dial in exactly what you need. Featuring a 4-band EQ with switchable frequency points for the Low and High Mids, as well as the Attack and Grunt switches which allow to dial in the saturation on the highs and lows, this preamp allows you to precisely tweak your tone to match the sound in your head. Use the Drive knob to saturate your signal, and the Blend knob to bring back in your dry signal, allowing you to achieve a gritty saturated tone without sacrificing clarity.
