The PMC Quick Note is a weekly service provided to all area directors.  It is part of our mission to support the lives of band directors across the Midwest.  The weekly Quick Note contains helpful tips and suggestions from area directors, spotlights on area college and university band programs, calendars of upcoming events, advocacy articles promoting music education, links to helpful web resources, and much more.  Comments, suggestions, ideas, and articles are always welcome.

Richard Saucedo Clinic

Palen Music Center and Hal Leonard Publishing are proud to present Richard Saucedo in a clinic at Palen Music Center in Springfield, MO. Richard Saucedo is currently Director of Bands at Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana. His bands have performed at The Midwest Clinic, the Bands of America Concert Band Festival, and the BOA Marching Band Grand Nationals, being named National Champions in 2005. Mr. Saucedo has composed dozens of works for marching band, concert band, and drum corps including original works for The Cavaliers during several World Championship seasons. He is in constant demand as a clinician, adjudicator, and guest conductor. He is currently on the writing staff for the Hal Leonard Corporation.

The clinic topics include rehearsal techniques, musicianship, and literature selection.
